Mod Applications are now open! The form and details of what kind of help we're looking for can be found over here, and apps will be open starting now and ending at 11:59 PM EST April 15th.

As always, any questions/concerns/etc can be posted here, the suggestion box, or through the usual contact methods.

Hey guys! Ashley here with a quick mod announcement. As mentioned at the end of February, we're going to be holding mod apps once again. It's very important that we get some help, as Jenna is often busy with school, Maresuke deals with a lot at work, Nika is only a helper mod and I'll be stepping down once these apps are processed and complete.

Mod apps will open April 1st and close on April 15th. A post with more details and the application form will be put up on the 1st. The process will be the same as last time, with apps for both full-time and helper mods available, and a list of the areas we'll need help in most. There won't be a poll unless there's a large number of people who apply for full-time mod!

With all that said, any questions/concerns/etc about this can be directed here or through the usual contact methods!

Hey there Discedo! Cat here with some house cleaning + plot. First off please make sure you have

spectavi and

linquere friended. They will be used heavily for plots/IC game information in the future from now on and since they're now on the friends add this is the last time we'll be mentioning to double check this.

Secondly mod applications are open for one more week. They will be closing next Wednesday, September 14th. For anyone who'd like to apply, but has not done so yet you may do so here

Thirdly Cube/Tatsumi-mun is kindly making us some up-to-date maps since I have all the map skill of a turtle on speed. So to help with this, if there's anything you remember from past player/mod plots in Discedo (and there have been a lot) in terms of locations or things characters have built (the mountain town where several characters went to stop John Summers as well as the safehouse in Discedo are both good examples of what we're looking for) please do list them here so we can reflect them on the maps and future settings info pages! Just to be clear there will be a world/lake map as well as maps for Dissimulo, Spero and Discedo so any information you know wasn't reflected on the maps we had previously would be helpful!

Finally as you can see by the latest posts in

spectavi and

linquere there is some plot underway! Namely we have three new monsters in the game and here are their statistics:

I am currently in the process of re-doing the Monster page so please pardon its appearance at this time, it will be brought up-to-date and re-organized some time hopefully within the next few weeks.

In addition: we do not have any mod plans for transportation to Spero. If you have any questions on what your characters can and cannot do if they are interested in taking up this project please drop them here! We encourage creativity and there will be more plot in the near future dealing with this situation.

This is Cat (Seifer/Weiss-mun). I have some mod announcements:

+ Parron is no longer a mod. Her refusal to compromise and work with fellow mods as well as players has made it impossible for her to continue on as part of the mod team.
+ In addition Parron is banned from Discedo for repeated player harassment. She's been talked to publicly and privately by both fellow mods and players and has not improved her behavior. Seeing as this is her second ban from Discedo for this reason this ban is currently indefinite. Please friend remove

+ Otter and Sire are both voluntarily stepping down from modship for personal reasons, please thank them for their work and dedication to the game.

+ Jenna will continue on as mod.

+ Mod apps for one mod will be held in two weeks on Sunday, August 31st. They will be open two weeks and close on September 14th. There will be a further week for them to be processed and applicants spoken with. Mod decisions will be announced Monday, September 29th.

+ The following week on Saturday, October 8th there will be a game feedback post. Between now and then the game will be re-organized (lists updated to reflect the correct information, various rules clarified, the info pages will be restructured to include more accurate maps/easier navigability, probably a few other things there will be a notice for everything that affects the playerbase and if you have any concerns/complaints please do not hesitate to bring them to myself, Ashley [Japan-mun] or Jenna, there's also the Concerns and Inquiries page and PMing the

-Plot will continue as scheduled with no interruption
-Applications will continue to be processed on Sunday as long as they were submitted by 11:59 PM EST Saturday though revisions will now be processed throughout the week as received instead of waiting until the next app day

We've been helping behind the scenes since April and we're both hoping to help streamline Discedo and keep it a fun and accessible game to everyone which is the reason for these changes.
