I didn't want to do this, but I must drop the game. Both Gakupo and Grell will be going back to whence they came. I'll be finishing up threads, though, but I won't start new ones, because that would be silly. >.>

Welp, guys, I'm sorry to say I've completely lost the will to play Yusei. I still luv him and he is still my babby, but his voice has completely left me.

That said, after nearly a year and a half, Yusei Fudo is heading back home. It's quite upsetting, as he was my first character here in the Disco, and hopefully his voice will hit me again in the future.

Ahaha this feels so surreal, typing this. 'Specially since I'm on Nor's account right now because Fearless is a dumbass and left all the communities before posting.

Cube, you get first pick of Yusei's stuff. Specifically, you get his special toolset that Seto got for him a few Christmases ago, and the photo of him and Jack that's on his bedside. You can pick what you like from the rest of the apartment (Horton 208), though there's not really a ton there. There might still be some stuff in Seto's room, idk.

Washu, Yusei sent you instructions on how to run the generators in the three apartment buildings in case of an emergency.

Now, here comes the big thing.

Remember the motorcycle Yusei began building from scratch waaaaaaaaaay back in like September? He's nearly finished it. A few tweaks, and it'll be ready to ride.
Right now, it's sitting in the basement workshop, and I'd really hate for it to go to waste.
So if anyone would like to volunteer to find it, I would love that.

If no one volunteers within like a month, I'll probably have Nor randomly find it for no reason and do... something with it, idk yet.

Wow this ended up being longer than I intended.

I... honestly can't think of anything else to say.

I'm still here with Nor, and I'm thinking of possibly maybe apping in a brand new character (for me) if my life calms down, so you're not quite rid of me yet.

Well this probably comes as no surprise, but I've been struggling for a while with Emmy here and despite all the hiatuses I've taken nothing really seems to help. So it's time to let Emmy here go home. But! I will most likely be returning very soon here with a new character...probably from the same canon even. I'll see you guys soon!

Because of rl issues and... the fact that I've mostly been away and feel estranged on my part (my surgery really killed everything ever), I'm going to have to drop. I'm sure to some of you it seems pretty sudden, but it's something I've been considering the last few weeks because I don't want to character squat and I certainly don't want to drag things out/leave y'all hanging.

This kills me. I hope I can come back after getting some fresh air in my life now that my recovery is officially done (as of the first week of January) and I'm back to work/getting my health on track again.

I'm...really sorry you guys. I love all of Fran's CR, I've loved having had the chance to rp with every last one of you, I've loved gaining the friends I've made because of playing this rosy fop.

So, for god knows how long, I've been struggling with Luffy. Not as in "hnn fuck, can't do tags" but more like "oh shit how do I do tags".

Which are completely different things, yes. >.>

So, sadly this is where I have to say that yes. I will be dropping Luffy. I just feel like I've been fucking him up for way too long, and I can't get a good grasp on his voice at all. And sorry, no, a hiatus would not help because then I would just be character squatting, and that's not fair to anyone.

I'll probably bring him back in a few months, if his voice comes back. But until then, I'm gonna have to slide out.

A few announcements to clear up confusion and keep everyone on the same page!

Currently we're making no calls on the status of where

discedo will continue to be played. For now we'll be staying on livejournal, but we will be holding a poll in January for the playerbase to decide a definitive decision (most likely the 4th or the 5th, but we'll give you a hard date as we get into January). We will also be postponing the Game Feedback Meme until after this poll has been completed (it WILL still be held some time in January, we just don't want to start it without being certain of the status of the game).

For now we've turned on custom comment pages for

coniurati and all of Discedo's communities which reverts the comment pages back to the former style. You can do so with your own journals here and we will be removing the part of the application acceptance note requesting players turn them off.

Plot
We were planning to hold an intensive plot December 26th through January 4th, but with the disarray LJ's in at the moment we'd rather postpone this plot until a later date. Our apologies to everyone who shifted chip events and player plot scheduling around to accommodate this plot. We will still be holding a plot some time the last week of December, but it'll be a less involved one than what we had planned. We'll have another announcement on that with more details within the next couple of days as we plan it out!
