Wow, you are probably thinking to yourself (or you would be if you hadn't suddenly lost consciousness), it really sucks to have a chip! Everything bad happens to me, I have no powers, and it keeps malfunctioning. There are absolutely no benefits to this!

You're wrong on that point. Chipped people, you will be returning to your normal selves once you wake up. Unchipped peeps, it's your turn to get the short end of the stick.
