NOW THE OLD KING IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE KING!

No, really. John is dead, guys. :( Good job, mansion team! Backdating is still allowed up until the next mod post, but yeah. Yay blood in the lake, and all of that.

This is basically just to reiterate that the lakes are out of bounds, and the scientists will be putting up signs and electric fences and stuff to give off the general "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" vibe. You can't drink from them, swim from them, eat fish from them-- whatever. It's very important to future plot. ♥

Also apps are definitely reopening on the 1st. ONE MORE PLOT POST TO GO, LOVELIES.

Alright, lovelies. We've reached the final leg of the journey, so sit tight!

This is for Monday the 29th. Now, Lolita needs to be taken back to the city-- of course, it isn't exactly simple. She's incredibly weak, and nearly completely blind, so if someone could tend to her, that would be awesome. However, she's quite unmanageable as can be seen in her latest post, and won't co-operate very much with anyone involved.

However, it isn't as simple as just giving her back and then everyone will get what they want. The scientists aren't completely trustful of who they've put into the teams, so they want to get Lolita back straight away in case anyone decides to use her as a bargaining chip. One of the scientists will make a post in the afternoon, stating that if she isn't returned safely to the subway entrance, then "their little weapon" will hang around permanently. Their little weapon is... oh, just something to persuade them with. And by persuade, it means they have no choice in the matter.

The weapon is... you may have guessed it, a powers blocker. Now before I keep going, let me stress that this is ONLY TEMPORARY.

But yes, EVERYONE'S powers will be blocked by this thing. For anyone who's just recently had their chip out, they get to be sick for their week instead of their powers going out of control. When Lolita has been returned, the scientists... fuck you all over, and it's still going to be in place. To clarify, the power block will NOT GO IN PLACE until a scientist posts about getting Lolita back. (and no, you're not allowed to keep her.)

The reason for this is one that we've needed for a while now-- the moderators need to try and fix the flaws with the chips in general. So this is just basically going to be a break for us to try and do that. The characters DO NOT HAVE THEIR CHIPS BACK IN. And THEY CAN STILL HAVE THEM REMOVED OVER THE BLOCKED PERIOD. The locations won't be changed again, either. But we're looking to have this last about two weeks or so-- we doubt it'll take any longer to get the issues fixed.

And this... is the end of the main plot as we know it! There's a little bit left to tie it all off, but it won't be until everyone's powers are returned, so we'll be staging that in about two week's time.

On the second of October, there will also be the before mentioned ITEM RAIN. As usual, characters can have whatever they like from that within reason-- nothing TOO huge or TOO powerful, so if you aren't sure, comment here to clear it with a mod! Well, it isn't really a rain as such: the items will be there when your character wakes up on the second, and it will rain food instead to replenish the supplies that were lost.

Now, since this has been our first "big scale" plot, (beyond infecting people with the virus and going, "SO HAY YOU CAN GO DIE NOW) it would be awesome to get any feedback you guys might have. We know of two of the BIG issues with the plot-- our way of choosing volunteers, and that we chose too many people. So we'll be going back to the old volunteering method, and decreasing numbers. However, if you have anything to say about any other areas, we welcome the feedback! Things you liked? Things you didn't? What we could improve on next time? Anonymous comments are allowed, but anything AT ALL that isn't constructive will be deleted.

Additionally, the last few items to be found will come up after those two weeks -- we haven't forgotten! Questions are, as always, totally welcomed.
