Event 6/27: (Part one of two, because part two gets TL;DR. So sorry for the slight delay!)
The battle continues on and it's not hard to succumb to weariness. But as you get tired, the chimeras are tiring too. Though their persistence could be somewhat admirable, nevertheless. They know where you've all been living over the months from previous attempts at the surface, and they've got the residential district surrounded down Lander and Brebo and across Gohl and Ingles. Still, their numbers have definitely dwindled since the first day. And while you dwindle, the biggest difference is that you come back (to life, that is). So one could even call it a final stand (against you, that is). But for what reason? What could they possibly want from all this?
Those nurses and doctors haven't been able to get back into the hospital either. But they still wait for you in the streets of Discedo, steel pipe or scalpel in hand.
A small rumble can be felt underground. It's a very light tremble to those above ground, but to the ones in the subway, it'll be more of an abrupt shake. Just what was that anyway?
[+ Player-suggested event] Well, whatever just happened, characters find that from this point on (as if the time of this post, that is), their communication devices' security disables itself. Privacy becomes unknown to these little devices, so yes that does mean that everything your characters posts or records will be public for everyone else to see or hear until further notice.
Also, those characters who still have their chips will suddenly, from this point on until further notice, start to experience occasional "mood swings". Whatever happened, their chip that remains in their body seems to react and as a result, chipped characters start to have moments where they lose control of their emotions, and they become vulnerable to acting more carelessly and recklessly. It's almost like shifting in and out of temporary insanity.
Perhaps all this has something to do with the scientists, who remain eerily, but persistently quiet amidst all the chaos. Did something happen to them just now...?
