And that's that. With Kevin's final post, characters will find that all doors now lead to home. The network has been shut down. Characters that may otherwise stay are basically boned, too; a monster infestation will begin within the week, and any characters who try to remain will either be forced out or eaten alive. Fun, right? If any character does comment to Kevin's post, he will inform them of this as well.

afterdiscedo is also now open for any and all players of Discedo to join. You're welcome to use it to your own bidding, and feel free to spread the word! Keep in mind that this community is (almost) COMPLETELY unmoderated. Nika will act as head of the community, so if problems DO show up, you can contact her for any problems.

We've all had a lot of fun moderating this game, and we hope you guys enjoyed your time here as well. With this post Discedo is officially closed. We will be closing up the comms once this post goes up, and adding last notes of closure, but you should still be able to comment around on the mingle log if it suits you.

Finally, if you want to use this post as a final OOC mingle place, leaving any contact stuff you want here and notes or whatever, go for it. We hope everyone has a very happy 2013, and best wishes for the rest!!

I feel like I should say something because Discedo itself has been a part of my RP career.

If you would've met me two years ago, I would assume journal roleplaying would be hard because I've been used to forums and just saying who we're playing and leave it as that. But then I started to look around in Livejournal games and to see what the big deal was about. I had played in another game but to be honest, I had no damn clue what the hell I was doing. One day, I was looking through journals and saw some entries for a little game that would soon become my first real step into roleplaying. I remember the application I did for Adam and get hit with nostalgia.

And the fact that it completely sucked. Seriously, how the hell did I get accepted on that? /lol

Discedo became my home game quickly despite the time when I started to join others. It's where I had my firsts and when the best plots were going around. I remember when Cat sent me a message which would be kind of the focal point of Sora's development in the game later on and I felt kind of honored that someone was wanting to get my characters involved in something. Just the fact that I could develop these characters and feel like I'm having fun all the way means a lot to me.

As a mod, I had tons of fun with plotting and how things were going to happen. Our mod chats were productive and also easy to get side tracked sometimes but we managed to make great times together.

So to my fellow mods: Jenna, Sara, Maresuke, and especially you Nika; I love you all and you're absolutely amazing despite all the shitty reality happening around us.

And to my fellow players: thank you so much for giving this woman a chance to play with you all. And while Old Man Discedo is retired, we'll still run into each other or perhaps at another game. Instead of sounding sappy, I'm ending this by saying...

Months late, I thought I'd just drop a little thank you to the people who run this game. I didn't play here for very long (I think), but hearing about this game ending (and months later) was still :( It's not my home game but still feels like saying goodbye to an old friend... D;

Either way, thank you to the people who modded this place :) I was able to play with quite a bit of fun here ♥

This was forever ago, but Discedo was one of the best role-playing experiences of my life. So sad to see it over with, but man, what a great run. Congrats, guys.
