Game Feedback: Stage 3

This is the game feedback forum to bring up concerns and suggestions for improvement to the game. This includes anything to do with the running of discedo from OOC matters such as how the Taken Lists are done to IC ones such as if the survival aspect of the game is being enforced enough. There are three stages to this forum:

»Stage 1: All comments are screened and players bring up concerns (anonymously if they prefer). Any concerns are valid.
»Stage 2: All suggestions are compiled and put up in a new post where the playerbase can discuss the different points and offer opinions and possible solutions.
»Stage 3: The modteam will discuss everything brought up in the previous two posts and put up a list of the solutions we've reached with player input. [CURRENT STAGE]

After a bunch of mod discussion we've decided on the following in response to player concerns:

Activity Check
Will now be every 2 months. The requirements will remain at 20 comments, but we will also accept posts as long as there are 10 comments from your character on it. This is to prevent players from posting and not replying to scrimp by AC. Finally we're doing away with the 2 thread minimum. If you have all 20 comments in one thread you can simply link that thread. We still have a 4 thread maximum though and if you link a post as one of your AC proofs that becomes a 2 thread maximum as a post counts for 2 threads. This means for AC you could pass with any of the following:

»4 threads of 5 comments each
»1 post with 10 comments and 2 threads with 5 comments each
»2 posts with 10 comments each
»1 post with 20 comments

You cannot pass with:

»1 post of 10 comments and 4 threads of 3 comments each
»1 post of 5 comments and 3 threads of 5 comments
»5 threads of 4 comments

Due to the fact AC is now every 2 months you may only hiatus through 1 AC. If you do not pass the next AC you'll be dropped from the game. If there becomes an issue with character squatting we'll tighten AC up, but we'd like to try and keep it at least a little on the simple side to start out with.

Finally we'd like to remind everyone on-going threads or posts that do not have the required post count at the time of submittal WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. We will tell you to resubmit again at the time you've reached the required count and if you don't it will be considered a failure to meet AC. If you are having trouble with AC for valid reasons you can always come talk to us and we'll sort something out.


Character Arrivals
All characters will now arrive in Discedo upon acceptance into the game and may branch out to other game locations from there. Aside from being the most fair all around we're concerned about spreading characters out too thin which this should help with.
