Memory Mix-up Event

How fond are you of your memories? You like them, right? Or maybe you don't. Maybe you rather them be tucked away and buried under years of denial.

Well. That's just too bad. There's something other than the bad weather to keep in mind. Starting Sunday, February 5th, characters may begin experiencing one another's memories. Embarrassing moments, dark secrets, steamy moments can all be shared against your character's will with those around them.


These are NOT illusions. What your characters "recall" is clearly in their own mind, as if they saw it through their own eyes. Nothing they remember will be in front of them or viewable by others. No illusions. More than one memory can be experienced, and any memory can be seen by more than one person. Having your characters experience the memory mix-ups is completely optional. It's all up to you! So, have fun!

However, in order to experience other character's memories, your character will have to be talking with someone through the communicators or be near someone in-person.

How to share memories:
You can post memories here, where anyone can select from at random.
or
While tagging you can also GIVE the other player a memory for their character to see.

This event will end on February 11th.

Man, going through the wiki and such to remember all the stuff Dean's been through, I've come to realize a lot of his memories aren't that great... So anyway! Uh, I'll try to go in order from most recent to earliest memory.

SPOILERS for anyone not familiar or not far enough in the series!


--Here in Discedo, Castiel telling Dean about Sam saying "yes"
--Shooting Lucifer in the face with the colt, it failing to kill him.
--Jo and Ellen's death.
--His time in "the Future"
--Taking Castiel to a strip club.
--Pulling himself out of his grave.
--His time spent in Hell
--Being torn apart by hell hounds
--His last Christmas with Sam, killing pagan gods
--Other various, casual bro moments with Sam.
--Seeing Sam die.
--His memories of Bad Day at Black Rock
--Cassie dumping him after he tells her the family secret.
--Any various flings, one-night stands or other sexual memories (which you can just make up or guess at, he apparently got around a lot.)
--16 year old Dean being caught cheating and called out on his loneliness (case and point)
--4th of July with 13 year old Sam, they set off fire works in a field together
--Christmas Eve and the Christmas to follow, with Sam, 1991
--Any various young Sam and Dean moments (he took care of Sam a lot on his own)
--Death of their Mom
--Dean is 4, comforting his mom after a fight with their dad.

If you know the series you're welcome to suggest others you'd like to see/have played out or something. If you pick one and need me to elaborate I can. There are SOME good ones in there, and they had little bro moments throughout the series (sharing a beer, eating breakfast, picking on each other, singing in the car) little things I'm sure Dean would consider good memories with Sam.

I vote Danny and Dean trade ghosthunting memories. Because this is obviously the best way to jump start their CR.

I do like this plan. There are plenty of ghost hunting memories if you want something serious. If not? There's always the Ghost Facers or if Danny wants to see Dean "Haunted". That episode is pretty hilarious and embarrassing for Dean.

What do you want from Danny? We could go for Box Ghost silly or something slightly more serious. Possibly his first battle with Skulker where he was going on and on about putting Danny's pelt on his wall.

OK well, I am okay with anything so...Is there a specific type of memory you'd like? Dean can see something about the Demon Fox/Naruto finding out he's got the Kyuubi inside him, or there are a number of silly/sad/ridiculous/badass things too.

As far as Cassie goes? Uhm, it was his first real love. He met Cassie Robinson while he and John were in Athens, Ohio for a hunt. She was finishing up college and they went out for a couple of weeks. Dean was in love with Cassie, who was the first person he'd ever seriously dated (as Sam says "for more than one night") and the first person he'd ever felt that way about. When he found out he was leaving, he told Cassie the 'big family secret' about hunting because he just couldn't lie to her. Cassie, however, called him 'nuts' and dumped him.

Dean has said that this really hurt him, and he decided at that point that it was "stupid to get so close" and that he didn't need to open up to anyone. (Ganked this from SuperWiki) But uh, that last tidbit, IDK if he'd get or not? Do they share the persons emotions during the memory? Either way. THERE YA GO.

I THINK THEY SHARE EMOTIONS at least that's how I've been doing it. Maresuke set up the event but |D gkfdsgf lmfao also if Dean wants to see any of Japan's memories I will list a few as suggestions I just come up with but feel free to do any/none of them!

- a goofy one is any of these where Japan and America are watching ghost stuff together :'|

Flandre's memories range from the traumatic to the nonsensical to the cute and harmless--though canon touches on almost none outside the events of EoSD, at least directly.

-The canon memory of the fight at the end of EoSD's Extra stage from her perspective--something with a very dizzying lightshow involved that may or may not be seen from multiple directions at once. She's fighting either a witch or a miko, the memory seems...fuzzy in that regard. Very fuzzy.

-A memory of her life in the basement, which can be either Very Boring (she stared at walls/into space a lot), childish (playing with blocks) or vaguely creepy (systematically ripping the limbs off of dolls).

-A memory of her playing with Meiling--either nicely or roughhousing like a rambunctious kitten playing with an older cat and resulting in scratches.

-A much, much more traumatic memory when she was captured and vivisected by 16th century vampire hunters. Her subconscious blocks out this memory imperfectly, so bringing it up to her may earn you some confused looks or make her flip some tables.

FEEL FREE TO ASK FOR MORE my headcanon for her memories is enormous. These were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head.
