Discedo: The Return of the Plot
Event: 06/25
Around 10:00 A.M.: It's been some time, but if one recalls, a monstrous roar bellowed from below during an event in late April. It comes back to wake up Discedo's residents this morning, followed by a quake soon after.
However, the quake is simple a brief quake that lasts only a few minutes into the hour, but this time it seems something much more destructive comes into play.
Almost like a bomber given the signal, several explosions shake up Discedo this morning, seemingly coming from ground up.
Areas hit:
● Marshall Street Apartments, specifically the generator (meaning, lights' out!). Damage is taken mostly on one side, causing the building and its floors to sort of slump from imbalance and "slide" towards the ground, higher floors collapsing onto the building itself.
● St. Peter's Church (finds itself with new, gaping windows). Gravestones from the Graveyard are knocked loose and lie on the dirt.
● Little Anchor Elementary School. Almost half of the school is in rubble.
● Also the fish market gets shaken up by this. As if the smell of rotten fish wasn't bad enough. Now it's burnt, rotten fish.
By now, it seems to be the routine announcement of what's to come for Discedo's reluctant citizens. Large Chimeras return for one more try at the surface. They linger around Marshall St., Horton Lane, Brebo Avenue and along Lander Boulevard, attacking anyone they see (even other monsters). Though it seems they've planned this out, because the large chimeras will try to cripple and destroy areas where supplies are being kept and whatnot and block routes, and so on.
Along Lander Boulevard, near Horizon Park, someone carved (or clawed?) a message into the pavement
"GET OUT OF MY TOWN"
Group 1
1. Linda
2. Haseo
3. Nani
4. Mona Lisa
5. Ari
6. Sora
7. Rue
8. Sakon
9. Umi
10. Leon
Group 1: Whether you were trying to fight back, whether you were chased away from your bed, or whether it was just dumb luck within all the confusion, you find yourself on the long-reaching Brebo Avenue around the Shopping District. It seems the quake and the explosions have affected this area too, revealing what looks like an old subway entrance long since buried and built over.
Well, it doesn't matter if you were simply trying to go past or if you really were curious. The old halls welcome you as chimera try to take you out where you stand, but those monsters won't let you back out once you're in. After the tenth person, the entrance is buried shut once again underneath the soil. If you stay there, you'll be buried alive. There's nowhere to go, but in.

B1: It's eerily quiet in this abandoned station. You practically hear your own heart beating. There's no light working either, though for food, snack machines still rest against walls (though, these are snacks that have been sitting there for years...). Exits to Brebo Avenue are blocked off.
Southmost restroom - Men's
-A skeleton is seated upon one of the toilets here.
(Looks like he's been there for quite some time...)
There's a message above his head on the bathroom wall behind him.
"This man died the way he lived. Full of shit."
B1 - Subway walls
Various ads line the walls leading into the subway. However, they are a bit peculiar in that most of the pictures are missing the models' heads.
-News stands have long since been updated. They all seem to carry papers around the year 2000.
-There's a subway map past the turnstiles, but it's mostly covered in old newspaper. Still, street names throughout Discedo can be seen on the map, as well as some streets (?) never heard of before...
Someone wrote on the old newspaper:
"SOFIE I SAW YOU
WHERE ARE YOU HIDING
I SAW YOU"
It seems to follow-up to the article beside it:
Old Newspaper article (dated year 2000)
"Beloved Husband and father decides to "take flight"
- In the mountain suburbs of Discedo, Nathan Trevor, 55, jumped to his death from the balcony of his mansion. His only daughter, Sofia Trevor, 18, was in the attic with him, but due to no signs of injury or struggle on his body, it is speculated that the reason was simply suicide, though no evidence of a suicide note was left behind. Sofia Trevor's only comment about her father's death was that "he finally desired to take flight, but forgot his wings". His wife, Emily Trevor, 36 and aspiring author, could only wonder what drove him to jump. "He had a good life, a caring family. I just don't understand why. Why did he have to die?" "
The stairs to the north and south past the turnstiles lead to B2.

(once again, map not to scale and for player reference only)
B2: As much as it is desired to search further around this floor, Group 1 characters will find they can only linger around the middle of B2, for the hallways and stairs leading to each line are guarded by two Cerberus-type chimera each, as if they were waiting for them. They will only attack if you come near though. For now, it'd be best to remain in the upper B1 floor or the middle part of B2 (and spend the night, yes).
On the wall, in the straight hallway leading to the Brebo Avenue Line stairs on either side
"Feet Of Dead Body Cut Off To Prevent Ghost From Walking." [pic]
To be continued...
Additional notes:
-There will be Player Events integrated into this Plot event too, so stay tuned!
