Plot Update
On Saturday characters will wake up to find something a little strange.

Suddenly they are not alone. Found everywhere, anywhere, are bodies. Not just any bodies: murdered corpses. Some may look as if they're only sleeping, others might have the telltale signs of starvation. But those are the nice ones. There are others in the streets, in the apartments, houses, buildings.
Heads caved in, limbs torn off, ribs exposed. Is that a body dangling from that street light or just an old shoe strung up by its laces? Better double check. Roll over in bed and you might find a grinning face with an axe through it staring back at you.
The objects from the past week and the bodies are now all tangible though their presence isn't a constant thing, blinking in and out of existence at times much like a bad signal reception. On the upside at least they don't smell. Wonder what that's about...
On the downside, well. Some of these mangled faces might be familiar. Ever thought about your friends back home? Your family? Your enemies even. Or maybe just people you met in Discedo who were suddenly one day... gone. The corpses around you might be total strangers. But in some cases they might not. Be careful Fortuna.
Starting Saturday corpses will be able to be found anywhere around every city. They can be of any character currently not in Discedo. It's up to players if their characters encounter total strangers or... something more. Characters might notice for corpses though something's off. While a body might have obviously died of blood loss there will be no pools of blood on the ground and even if a weapon is stuck into a wall or a table neither will show any sign of splitting to accommodate it, the same for lack of bullet holes around an obviously bullet-riddled corpse. All in all it's almost as if all these corpses and objects are photoshopped over reality...
In addition over the course of the week a fog bank will be moving in over the entire known area. This means the lake, Discedo, Spero, Dissimulo and everything in-between. It'll start light, clinging low to the ground and gradually increase until Wednesday by which time it'll be near impossible to see more than a few inches in front of oneself.
Finally yet more monsters:
Found in all three cities:
Turrets wiki
These sentry turrets might seem polite enough at first, but show yourselves to them and you'll be dodging bullets from their dual machine guns. Their weapons are normally hidden, so they tend to make use of their innocent, childlike voices and lure their victims out of hiding. If you want to avoid these powerful Aperture Science machines, stealth is your best advantage! Knock them over and render them useless!
In Dissimulo:
Thestral wiki
For those who have witnessed death, you may spot a new creature roaming around. Don't mind if your innocent friend can't see these beasts just yet. Surely in a place like this, death is hard to avoid. These horse-like animals have a skeletal body, a reptilian face and wide, leathery wings that resemble a bat's. They might be considered majestic... in a dark sort of way. Just don't bleed within a mile of these beasts or you might find their sharp teeth having a sample or twelve of your flesh.
In Discedo:
Witch wiki
Who's this little lost girl? Maybe you don't want to know. Found most often in dark, quiet places, Witches can be heard sobbing to themselves. Approach though and you might not live to regret it. The close presence of others as well as unwelcome light sources causes this monster to go into a frenzy, attacking whoever's startled her with a superhuman strength, surprising speed and once she's managed to corner her agitator, lethal twelve inch long claws. Able to stand up to most blows, a shot to the head or fire works best on this one. Don't forget to kill your lights...
As usual any questions/concerns/etc can be asked here!

Because tons of dead bodies is a great cover up for killing people.
But I'm also up for him harming and then biting people not to tell.
He can bother/hurt/kill anyone in Discedo or Dissimulo.

So, so much.
I'm thinking Yusei's gonna be a little freaked, but I'll give him a break and not have him see anyone he knows. I've traumatized him too much lately, so I think I'll have fun with my new little Norge babby this time around. <3
Dead Ice/Den, here I come!

Horton, you might hear screaming.

No specific ideas for Conan yet, beyond him noticing right away that the scene does not fit. He'll be in Dissimulo.
Takato will be in Discedo. I'm thinking of having him run into some familiar faces from his world. Trauma, right?
Amelia is in Discedo as well, but I don't know what I will be doing with her yet. Probably some major upset, considering this is her first encounter with Discdo's horrors.

Shall I plant him somewhere for Nor to find?
It is my goal to traumatize him as much as possible during this event.

but besides that, she's up for plotting B)

Flandre here's probably going to be separated from Cube at some point and be crying over a body and look disturbingly like a Witch with rainbow wings. Would Vriska investigate before she rain into a proper Witch?

Are the bodies able to be picked up, held? if so, CAN THEY BE THROWN?
So on the wrong account to be asking such things. /sob

welp. Flandre's probably going to go ballistic.
SOMEWHAT UNRELATED QUESTION: Being a vampire, would Flandre trip off any thestrals just by existing in a certain area or only if she's fed recently?

Because I don't torture him enough. OBVIOUSLY.

Other than that I am open to anything.

And then he will bash turrets. Y'know, just because.

Grell...hmm...a bit harder. She can see whomever she wants, but it wouldn't matter to her. At all. She may try to kill people? Trying out the laws of death in this place and such.
ALSO how long does this event last? How tall is the fog? Can it reach really high buildings?
no subject
The fog starts low, but by Wednesday it'll cover most buildings, the only exceptions being the observatory and top of the water tower in Spero and the very top of the museum in Discedo.

That's right! Bastion had an in-game crossover with Portal! We even have a (theoretical) history with one Mr. Cave Johnson.

Are these bodies actually illusionary, as such dispellable with magic? Because that would be Haer'Dalis' first instinct to seeing the corpse of someone he thinks couldn't possibly be dead here of all places.
