Alright guys, just a bit more housekeeping. Aaand you all know how much we in the modseats love bullet points, so here we go:

The Wanted Characters post is going to be deleted. No one’s used it for a while (that’s partly our fault for not cleaning it out, sorry!) and we all know that ATP does the job much better, so we’re not going to keep it.
The Application has changed just a little as of right now. There are no major changes, so we will be processing apps that don’t have a links or powers & abilities section, but we do expect to be seeing the new app exclusively within a few weeks.
We’d like to formally request that everyone put their character name and canon in their profiles! It’s a more common problem than you’d think to run across a character and have absolutely no idea who they are or where they came from, so please be courteous and help your fellow players out. This is obviously something we can’t enforce, but we will be requesting it upon acceptance into the game from here on out, so do try and edit it in somewhere if you haven’t already.
Another minor thing: please remember to put images in your posts under cuts. Especially if they're large. Images can make loading time very painful.
Apartment layouts have been added to the Rooming List! As you can see, there are three basic sizes: Efficiency, 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom. ~~We took a look at the overall floor layout and did our best to match up the sizes, so if you thought your apartment was one size and it’s actually another, we suggest a subtle retcon.~~

Due to problems being brought to light to us, we've decided to let characters pick what kind they want depending on how they've been living up until now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Should be fixed! I think it was because I copied it over from a Word document and the quotation marks were all funny.

Notepad has always been the only writing program that did not do that to me. It works now!

Notepad also doesn't pick up my typos...

..............When I feel insecure, I sometimes do a lot of forth and back copypasta before I post /hides But yeah, notepad has up and downs, totally agreed.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is the 'links' section? i cant... see it on the apps... or is it just a revised 'canon resourse links' section? ... or am i just missing something?

It's a section where you can link any threads you've done before with the character you're apping. It's not mandatory, it can just help support the characterization if we don't see everything we need in the samples.

Im almost depressed they didnt get a two bedroom because i could imagine germany being like 'YOU, SLEEP HERE' and it stays like that for an hour before italy creeps into germany's bed for the night

Yup! It's fixed now.

Hmm, the only way I can think of how to retcon this successfully is if we have an extra apartment on the first floor. Problem is, 112 is currently uninhabitable. Since Donatello is canonly able to make things like submarines and security systems from practically nothing/junkyard materials, would it be doable to have him fix that room up with help from his brothers and roommates?

Okay, one more question because my character is anal. I created a two bedroom apartment layout with the shape of Latimir 110+111+etc. Should I assume that I need to reconfigure the size of the apartment so it's the two bedroom apartment shown above, or can I use the layout we had before?

Mostly I'm just asking because the shape on the maps of the apartments wouldn't be the shape the apartment actually is....

Marshall 301/302! Rather than get confused and say "wait, how does a 4 bedroom become a two bedroom," I hereby propose the following IC retconning: they're fucking Nordics. One of the living rooms was given a wall, making it a bedroom, and in the other apartment the bedroom got a wall dividing it in two, making it two bedrooms.

Two larger bedrooms, two smaller bedrooms, four bedrooms, NORDIC STYLE. Like so!

Hrnnnnnnn although I REALLY LIKE having the layouts, with so many people already established so well - and so many people sharing apartments - maybe it would be better to let the players decide what apartments are what size? That's going to be a ton of retconning, and it might especially be hard for people with conjoined apartments or a full building (hi latimir). Again, I really like it, but....it's going to cause a lot of problems having been put into place so long after the games start. D:

Having the players decide would honestly cause us a bit of a headache, when the fact is that this way most players will only have to change the place of their comment and it won't affect anything IC. There aren't that many cases of conjoined apartments where a slight change in the number of bedrooms or maybe moving a few doors down would cause a huge problem.

I have to agree with this. I wish there had been a survey to accommodate headcanon for characters who had been in their apartments awhile.

ALSO, since Donny is Naja's slave, and can build stuff, if people want to say that Don helped reconfigure their apartments, either by splitting bedrooms or combining apartments, I'm okay with it. He's been fixing up Latimir canonly for months.

I asked two of the mods how many bedrooms the apartments had in December. I was told by both of them that each apartment had two bedrooms. I'd been using that information to dictate a lot of things that a "subtle retcon" isn't going to fix.

Seeing this post is upsetting to me for a lot of reasons. Mods don't have information straight although I realize one of the mods I asked back then is no longer a part of the mod team. While a neat idea, this post wasn't necessary and in my opinion was a lot of work for no reason.

I obviously can't speak for everyone, but I think most people would have been a lot happier not having something so specific applied to the bedrooms. This is something that should have happened in the beginning of the game, not now.

I'm sorry if this comes off as rude, but the miscommunication between mods and then between players is just frustrating me. I would prefer to keep using the information I was told in December. I wouldn't have asked the mods how many bedrooms each apartment had if I expected that number to change.

Above anon who feels really bitchy now. Thanks you for taking player's opinions into consideration and changing it so it's easier for everyone.

Although after Molly posted her comment she started thinking of how it could be worked around so in the end she isn't sure if it was a bad idea or not, Molly thinks this is in the end the best way to do things. Molly approves of mod-chans. :D
