I never got the hate, honestly. I loved her when she a lovesick genin with hidden potential and I still loved her all the way up to cutting her hair and when she became a super-strong, medic-nin under Tsunade's tutelage. ♥;;

I might not watch Naruto anymore, but I still think she's a great character.
