Plot Update
You're finally hitting the end Fortuna, this nightmare's reached its last dance. But how will you choose to end it?
On Wednesday things will finally reach the breaking point. You noticed it didn't you? All these bodies with wounds they shouldn't have, ghosts talking about things they shouldn't know, a Spero so different and yet most certainly akin to the one you know: there's an alternate world breaking through here. And it's Hell there.
Starting Wednesday all bodies in every location will begin to get up and move. They want your flesh. But more than that they want your life. The one thing they no longer have; can you hold onto it in these trying times? Well you're going to be put to the test. Ghosts will also be found everywhere (this includes Spero now) and the fog has reached a new level of sinister. Finding yourself feverish, is it suddenly harder to breathe, do you feel... weak? The air's turning poisonous and there's nothing you can do to stop it. You can form a makeshift mask out of something to filter it, but just how long will that going to keep the effects at bay?
Of course, if that weren't bad enough all characters will now find themselves blinking back and forth between this alternate war-torn world and normal Fortuna. Discedo, Dissimulo, Spero, it doesn't matter. Everywhere buildings are destroyed, blood marks death and signs of bitter stands to the last breath. Though...when people go to this Fortuna, part of it comes to normal Fortuna. Even if your character is in normal Fortuna they'll run into these battered buildings. Is that the Marshall you know? Or is it suddenly a half-crumbled fortress topped with wires and boarded up windows, blood and gore splattered along its sides? It's becoming near impossible to tell which Fortuna you're in anymore isn't it.
Finally, well... The monsters are coming through. For the rest of this plot any monster you so wish may be found anywhere in Fortuna. Want Reavers? Weeping Angels? Grunties? Gatherers? If you can dream it, it's there.
Do you think you'll make it to tomorrow?
Well. That's where your new friends come in. Now that transportation is finished they'll be coming to Discedo. They want to help you, save you. At least that's what they say. The reasons? They have their own. Whatever they are though they're the only ones offering to fix this, all of it. Can you really refuse? Or are you going to live in this hellish land of mockery and death for the rest of your time in Fortuna? Make your choice carefully because once you have... there's no turning back.
Later today Wednesday there will be a log to meet the scientists as they arrive in Discedo LJ permitting anyways. This log will be open to any and every character that wants to join in. It'll be linked here once it's up. Scientist log is here.

Q. Are characters who became trapped in Alternate Fortuna still trapped there?
Yes unfortunately it seems you can't get out! At least all your friends are coming to join you? On the plus side in Alternate Fortuna they will find there's a teleporter system set up between Spero, Discedo and Dissimulo. In Spero and Discedo it's located in City Hall, in Dissimulo it's located in the Church. There's a forth location listed on the teleporter options, but it doesn't seem to be working and not much can be made out beyond the fact it starts with the letter O. Wonder what that could be about...
Q. Can I kill a scientist?
No sorry, you need them! If you want your character to try though we can always work something out, leave us a comment here!
Q. Can I punch Jay in the face?
ONLY ONE PERSON GETS TO DO THIS. Sorry. You need him too! You guys'll just have to work it out amongst yourselves who gets to do the honors if you really want to.Though my vote is for Ran SHE PUT UP WITH HIM SO WELL!
