Discedo's First Actual Wedding

Hello, Discedo! Rina here! Sorry that I've been inconsistent in my tags recently. Summer school has been kicking me in the ass, time-wise not grade-wise. I'm making this post, with permission from the mods of course, to let everyone know about China and Stocking's upcoming wedding.

Bulleta and I have decided that the wedding will occur either on August 7th, or August 8th. All characters are invited, even if they have not had much personal contact with the bride and groom, I want this to be a party that everyone can participate in. So if your character doesn't know China or Stocking, think of this as a party to get to know other residents of Fortuna, or as a place where they can get free food and booze.

I will soon make a post in which China will send a text to announce the date so everyone knows ICly. Of course, this wedding will be a traditional Chinese wedding. China, Taiwan, and Stocking have been working on decorations, the clothes, food, etc. China's built the carriage the bride is to be carried in. Speaking of, we are still in need of two more people to help carry it. If anyone wants to volunteer their character, please feel free to comment here or PM me.

To give everyone an idea of what a traditional Chinese wedding is like, here's some videos I managed to find on youtube:

The very last video is about Chinese wedding door games. Basically what happens in the wedding door games is that, before the groom can see his bride, the bridal party gives the groom certain "tests" to see if he is fit to care for his bride.

Again, all are welcome.

Also, does anyone remember China's post back in June about the Dragon Boat Festival? The mods have also given me permission to make a log for this event now that the game's plot event is over. Of course, this will be done before the wedding. Like I said on plurk, a part of me thought about just not going through with it because it was so late, but another part of me couldn't just abandon it after all the planning I did with others. To make things easier, this festival will not be backdated, so characters who came in after June 23rd are more than welcome to join in the festivities. My IC reason for China not holding the festival on the original date is because he was overcome with a serious case of the flu. (Lame, I know, but it was all I could think of since I certainly wasn't going to have him fall in a ditch with his wedding just around the corner.)

So... Come one, come all! Chinese wedding feats have up to eight courses!
