Exploration End + Post-Plot Stuff
Welp, after all that hard work, looks like you guys have finally received your reward. This is a post-plot post giving a players an idea of what sort of things this last event has done! -ish. Let's be quick about it.
The recent flood seems to have cleaned up Discedo quite a bit, and brought about the chance for things to, for once, GROW. That's right; LIVING, breathing plants. The foliage around Discedo is pretty extravagant though. Over the next month plants will be popping up amass.
In case you're not sure what sort of plants might be showing up, here are your images: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
So that's in store for the long run! And that's just a sample of the crazy-looking exotic plants that might pop up eventually. More will develop later from this, so enjoy your funny looking plants until then!
Additionally, the subways are now filled with rotting fish, so enjoy that new smell! Characters will have to clean the tunnels, but the trains themselves will still be working.
As for the exploration team, your efforts are being rewarded! The time-capsule was discovered to be a time-release, meaning only on a certain date it would open up. Fortunately! On April 28th the locks will release. Here's what it contains:
• A photo album, though many of the photos are so faded the details are mostly lost. It appears to be a family: two parents and two children, and their life in the town.
• A kid's lunchbox with this on the front
• A knitting set and some instructions. The string falls apart if you pull on it even slightly
• A box of twinkies. Do you honestly want to eat them....
• Coins in a small container. The design is that of flowers and birds, while the dollar coin is of a bear. There's a LOT of them, too, but when you finally count it up, it;s like 10.83
• an old magazine.
• A tape and tape player. There's enough battery power in it to play the song at least once. Looks like the song is called "Summer Lovin' in the Summertime." Man, these guys had bad taste in music
• A few hands on puzzles: the Tower of Hanoi, Metal Link puzzles, and a tangram set.
• Several mini toy cars. They look like they've been used
• A slinky
• Newspaper article
